Sarah Subremon, LL.M.
Sarah heads CDC’s operations in Paris. In her role she is in frequent contact with both SME’s and large multinational companies that have been harmed by anticompetitive practices not only in France but Europe-wide. Sarah also works closely with trade associations and law firms who are looking for effective remedies to obtain compensation for their members and clients.
Before joining CDC, Sarah was a member of the senior executive team of the French Competition Authority, acting inter alia as Deputy General Rapporteure, Deputy Head of Legal Service and Advisor to the President. Sarah has extensive experience in managing antitrust procedures involving cartels, abuse of dominance, and vertical restraints from the investigation to the decision and appeal stages.
Previous career highlights include working as:
- Assistant Legal Director (on secondment) at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in London
- Advisor to the Hearing Officers, service attached to the Competition Commissioner at the European Commission
- An Attorney of the Paris bar
Sarah also holds a LL.M. in European Law from Pantheon-Assas (France).
She is a passionate and energetic person at ease in cross-cultural environments. In her spare time, she enjoys competitive sports and spending time with family and friends.
