Pádraic Burke, M.Sc.
Pádraic is passionate about business development and within CDC he employs his multidisciplinary background to provide important versatility. One of his main responsibilities is the identification and analysis of potential future cases as well as the economic and data analysis in ongoing cases. This also encompasses communication with damaged companies and CDC’s external expert economists, usually renowned university professors. In addition, Pádraic manages the marketing activities of CDC including the supervision of and contribution to CDC’s competition law blog. Pádraic regularly writes blog articles on topics concerning private antitrust enforcement and has co-authored a chapter on the practical challenges for cross-border follow-on actions in the recent publication Private Enforcement of EU Competition Law – The Impact of the Damages Directive.
Pádraic holds a B.Comm (Accounting and Finance) from NUI Galway, a M.Sc. in Business Economics from KU Leuven and a PG Dip in Digital Marketing.
Outside of the office, Pádraic plays hurling for Belgium. He also enjoys running, watching rugby, music sessions, the occasional round of golf, and travelling home to Ireland.
